While I’m posting about beer, I’ll add that Hop City, a craft beer store in Atlanta, got the Rogue Voodoo Doughnut bacon maple beer in on Friday. I posted a picture of the flyer from Voodoo when I visited in December. Unfortunately, we weren’t in Portland but a few hours, so I didn’t get any. When I went back to Portland last month, they were selling the beer at Voodoo, but it wasn’t cold and we didn’t have a way to chill it. Anyway, I picked up one on Saturday, and I’ll say it was really tasty. I am very impressed with their ability to brew a beer that tastes like pancakes and bacon with syrup and beer all at the same time and keep me wanting more. In fact, it was so good that my girl wanted to go out on Sunday night and see if we could find a place in Atlanta to get a bacon maple doughnut. It induced a craving for sure. high-res photo
